Oventrop Return Riser Valve with Shunt Pump

The Regumat RTA boiler connection system allow for the correct connection between a buffer tank/heating system and a wood burning boiler. The minimum return water temperature for wood boilers is 55°C, this is the point below which condensation starts to occur in the boilers heat exchanger.

During start-up, the boiler flow water is short circuited directly to the boiler return via the bypass in the RTA unit. When the flow temperature reaches 55°C the bypass starts to close and allow the flow mix with the return water always making sure that the minimum level is 55°C.
